Frequently Asked
Questions

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Pacero and select "Always" for the best tracking experience. This allows Pacero to track your runs even when the app is in the background or your screen is locked.

GPS accuracy depends on several factors: satellite visibility, weather conditions, and nearby buildings or trees. For best results, run in open areas and wait a few seconds after starting for the GPS to calibrate. Pacero uses advanced filtering to improve accuracy, but some variation is normal.

When you first launch Pacero, you'll be asked to grant Apple Health permissions. You can also enable this later in Settings > Health within the app. Once enabled, all your runs will automatically sync to Apple Health.

Open any completed run, tap the share button, and select "Export GPX". You can then save the file, share it via email, or open it in other apps. GPX files contain your full route data including timestamps and elevation.

Pacero Pro includes AI-powered training plans for 5K, 10K, and habit building, advanced analytics with detailed pace and elevation charts, an achievement system, unlimited run history, and priority support. All Pro features come with a 3-day free trial.

Go to Settings on your iPhone > tap your Apple ID > Subscriptions > Pacero > Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can resubscribe at any time.

Currently, Pacero is an iPhone-only app. However, it works great with your screen locked and supports Live Activities on the lock screen and Dynamic Island. Apple Watch support is on our roadmap for future updates.

Pacero automatically detects when you stop moving (like at a traffic light) and pauses the timer. When you start moving again, it automatically resumes. This ensures your pace calculations are accurate and reflect your actual running time, not waiting time.

Yes! Pacero is built with privacy-first design. All your running data, routes, and personal information are stored locally on your device. We don't upload your data to any servers, and we don't sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You can delete individual runs from your history, or delete all data by uninstalling the app. Since all data is stored locally on your device, removing the app completely removes all your Pacero data. If you synced to Apple Health, that data remains in Health until you delete it separately.
