Free on Watch: your progress, a watch-face count and a guided breathing exercise. With LastGlass+: a wrist urge timer. Open the paired iPhone app once to send your record across; use the iPhone for the full support screen.

What you can do without a subscription

The Watch home screen shows the progress sent by your iPhone. With an alcohol-free goal, that includes your count and next milestone. A watch-face complication lets you glance at the count without opening the full app. The Watch also offers Breathe for a minute.

These features do not require LastGlass+. The free iPhone app remains the place for daily check-ins, your journal, calendar, risky-time plans and the wider support toolkit.

What the wrist urge timer adds

LastGlass+ unlocks Ride the urge on Apple Watch. You can start the timer from your wrist, keeping a pause within reach when taking out your phone would be inconvenient. Its availability follows the premium status synced from the iPhone.

The iPhone timer stays free and can show as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen. You do not need a subscription just to use that timer. The iPhone offers 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes, with 20 minutes as the default. A timer length is a tool setting, not a prediction about how long a particular urge will last.

Bring your record to the Watch

  1. Install LastGlass on your iPhone and its companion on the paired Apple Watch.
  2. Open the iPhone app and set up your goal and record.
  3. Open LastGlass on the Watch. If no record has arrived, it asks you to open the iPhone app once.
  4. Add the LastGlass complication to a compatible watch face if you want the glanceable count.

The Watch receives a snapshot; it is not a separate LastGlass cloud account. If the record or premium status is stale, reopen the paired iPhone app and check both installations. For persistent problems, contact support with device and OS details.

Keep the phone’s support route available

The Watch screen directs you to the iPhone for helplines and your plans. It does not watch for emergencies, detect withdrawal or decide whether it is safe to stop drinking. Trusted contacts are shortcuts you choose to use, rather than a monitoring service.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Apple Watch sobriety counter free?

Yes. LastGlass’s Watch progress display, watch-face count and breathing exercise are free. The urge timer on the Watch is part of LastGlass+. The iPhone urge timer remains free.

Why is my count missing on Apple Watch?

Open LastGlass on your paired iPhone once to bring your record to the Watch. If it still looks stale, check that both apps are installed and reopen the iPhone app. The Watch shows a synced snapshot rather than an independent cloud account. Contact support if it does not update.

Does the Watch replace the iPhone support screen?

No. Use LastGlass on iPhone for helplines, trusted contacts, risky-time plans and the full record. The Watch does not monitor emergencies or contact someone for you.
